The Hidden Concepts Foundation
At HIDDEN CONCEPTS Inc. we realize that many of us tend to take for
granted things like our health - physically being able to live our
lives the way we want to, and mentally being in control of our bodies
and our lives. Unfortunately, many people are not that fortunate. Even
worse ... (too) many of them are helpless children, who simply deserve
to be healthy, happy, and safe.
Imagine how different those experiences might be if you were
challenged with a serious illness. You might be confined to a hospital
bed, separated from friends and family. You might be slowed by crutches
or a wheelchair. You might spend lonely nights with little to take your
mind off the pain.
Established in 2006, The HIDDEN CONCEPTS Foundation will do everything possible to contribute funds to deserving charities and organizations. The HIDDEN CONCEPTS Foundation
supports organizations that dedicate their efforts to the health and
well-being of our communities with a focus on broad-reaching research
for cures and education around diseases that affect all walks of life.
The HIDDEN CONCEPTS Foundation will derive it's funds from various focus efforts (including):
- 5% of profits from our services at Hidden Concepts will be donated.
- Active links to our supported charities, will be available on our website, and in our newsletter, for our clients and business partners to donate funds on their own.
- Our staff at Hidden Concepts will be personally involved in various capacities, with the charities we support, to assist with community events, and other forms of fund raising.
We are very proud to announce the following charities as benefactors of The HIDDEN CONCEPTS Foundation
Children's Miracle Network
Established in 1983, Children's Miracle Network
(CMN) generates funds and awareness for more than 17 million sick and
injured children, who are cared for each year by its 170 affiliated
hospitals, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. Although the
program is national in scope, 100 percent of the funds raised in each
community stay local, being donated to the nearest CMN hospital in that
area.
The money The HIDDEN CONCEPTS Foundation raises is funneled to
CMN hospitals to help sick kids in a variety of ways – from purchasing
new equipment and paying hospital bills to funding research that allows
CMN doctors to remain on the cutting edge of medical advancements and
technology. And, it is because of past generosity that Ace continues to
rank in the top 10 of all CMN corporate sponsors.
SickKids Foundation
SickKids Foundation
has always played a leadership role in supporting children's health.
Now we must focus on ensuring that health research does not just
advance what we know about health care and practice but that the
research we are funding is right for the next generation of Canadians.
It has become critical that SickKids bring its discoveries from the
laboratories outside of the hospital and into doctor's offices, homes
and the broader community, and through the efforts that our
philanthropy supports – research, education and advocacy – this will
happen.
Previously, philanthropy funded the "nice to haves": limited to
the latest and newest piece of equipment and the state-of-the-art
buildings. Now, we are recognizing that private funds are a significant
and necessary funding partner to ensure the achievement of an
organization's mission.
The Foundation raises money that ensures that what we know and
learn about child health continues to be put into practice. These funds
also ensure that Canada's children and youth have futures that are not
short-changed because of poor health or because scarce resources were
diverted to the health care needs of an aging population.
Starlight Starbright
The Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation
is a non-profit organization dedicated to brightening the lives of
seriously ill children and thier families by providing a broad array of
both in-hospital and out patient programs designed to enhance their
ability to cope with the stress of illness.
A leader in delivering distractive entertainment therapies, the
Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation Canada is able to touch the
lives of over 8,000 seriously ill children and their families each
month.
Please help us to help these children. You have the ability to make a vital difference in the lives of these special children.

Canadian Diabetes Association
Charles Best, the co-discover of insulin, had a vision. Very early
on he saw that the growing number of Canadians with diabetes were going
to require an organization to serve their needs. In the late 1940's,
the Diabetic Association of Ontario was formed.
As the provinces and territories formed their own associations,
it became clear that if the provincial branches combined their
resources they could more effectively serve their membership. This
culminated in the formation of Canadian Diabetes Association in 1953.
Established over 50 years ago, the Canadian Diabetes
Association is a charitable organization that has grown to include a
presence in more than 150 communities across the country. The Canadian
Diabetes Association promotes the health of Canadians through diabetes
research, education, service and advocacy.
Our Mission:
To promote the health of Canadians through
diabetes research, education,
service and advocacy.
Autism Speaks
At Autism Speaks, our goal is to change the future for all who struggle with autism spectrum disorders.
We are dedicated to funding global biomedical research into the
causes, prevention, treatments, and cure for autism; to raising public
awareness about autism and its effects on individuals, families, and
society; and to bringing hope to all who deal with the hardships of
this disorder. We are committed to raising the funds necessary to
support these goals.
Autism Speaks aims to bring the autism community together as
one strong voice to urge the government and private sector to listen to
our concerns and take action to address this urgent global health
crisis. It is our firm belief that, working together, we will find the
missing pieces of the puzzle.
Autism Speaks. It's time to listen
